About ANC

ANC Inc is the first licensed micro cultivator in Alberta, focused on supplying seeds, clones, and tissue culture for the commercial and home grower, as well as cannabis flower for the consumer market. Motivated by a passion for quality product and our support for the entire growing and cultivation community, we believe that everyone, no matter their background or experience, should be able to grow their own quality plants.

At ANC, our seeds will mean better genetics and better product for all consumers. More than just a cannabis company, ANC is a nursery and a classroom for responsible and honest plant production.

Company History

In 2017, ANC first learned of Health Canada’s proposed new micro cannabis cultivation licences and brought the idea to a few friends who shared the passion for cannabis. Together this small team has brought to life a company built around the belief that they create quality product that is accessible to everyone and that ANC will provide educational support and services to their consumers.

ANC is first and foremost a genetics company committed to developing the highest quality product possible. ANC achieves their high standards by being a data and science driven company, refusing to compromise their product for the sake of sales.

Company Goals and Priorities

ANC is currently focused on seeds and clones for the consumer and commercial market, with plans to release flower for retail sale. ANC has also applied for a processing licence of their own, so they can process and sell their own product.

The company has additional long-term plans to sell flower, likely in the form of pre-rolls sourced from the genetics they will be offering consumers as seed stock. This approach will allow consumers to experience the product before deciding on a cultivar. This will be part of a larger program they call the “Know Before You Grow” service that will also include access to an online platform offering genetics-specific tips for home growers.
